Daryl and Jamie Ushko aren't just business partners - they're life partners too! This dynamic husband-and-wife duo combined their passions to create something truly special in Kamloops.

What inspired us to open Mighty Molar, the first dental hygiene-only clinic in Kamloops? It all started with a shared dream: to revolutionize dental care in our community. Daryl's 14 years of experience as a Dental Hygiene Practitioner showed him firsthand the need for a more comfortable, client-focused approach to oral health. Meanwhile, Jamie's knack for operations and customer care made her the perfect partner to bring this vision to life.

We realized that by focusing solely on dental hygiene, we could offer a unique, stress-free experience that puts our clients' comfort first. No more dreading dental visits - we wanted to create a place where taking care of your smile feels like a treat!

When he's not perfecting smiles, you'll find him hiking Kamloops trails with his beloved dogs or cheering on his favorite sports teams. Daryl's passion for the great outdoors is matched only by his dedication to client care. Caralee has been transforming smiles since 2013, when she graduated from Vancouver Island University and launched her dental hygiene career. A proud Kamloops local, she returned home in 2020 — and we’ve loved her bright, calming presence ever since. Her expertise and genuine care make every visit feel relaxed, comfortable, and totally judgment-free.


Outside the clinic, you’ll find Caralee paddleboarding with her family or unwinding in a yoga class. Her goal is simple: to deliver exceptional care that helps you feel confident, supported, and excited about your oral health. With Caralee, you’ll leave feeling lighter, cared for, and yes — smiling.

Natalie has called Kamloops home for over 30 years and has spent her career helping people feel good about their smiles — fun fact: she’s cleaned more than one million teeth. She got into dental hygiene because she loves connecting with people and has a real gift for helping anxious patients feel calm and comfortable.


A mom of two, Natalie brings a warm, steady presence to every appointment. Outside the clinic, she dreams of fitting in more Latin dance, yoga, and piano. In the meantime, she’s committed to making sure each visit feels relaxed, supportive, and leaves you feeling confident in your smile.
